Ariana Grande Says She Has 'No Plans' For Sixth Album Right Now

Opening Night - Ariana Grande Sweetener World Tour

A girl needs a break.

After releasing Sweetener and Thank U, Next within less than a year's time, Ariana Grande knows her music is in-demand — but even queens need time to sit back and chill. Last night (May 10), the singer delivered a not-so-sweet statement on her Instagram Stories concerning the status of her sixth studio album. So if you've had your fingers crossed for a possible three-peat with AG6 already down the pipeline, now's the time to let them go.

"I always say imma take a break and not make songs but then i remember that making songs is literally the thing that brings my heart and soul SOOO MUCH JOY and SOLACE and i’m right back where i was,” the musician shared, before breaking the bittersweet news of having "no plans for music," AG6 specifically.

Rest assured though, Arianators, Grande is "always" cooking up something in the studio. But before signing off, the "Breathin" star teased in another Story a never-before-heard track with Swedish songwriter ILYA Salmanzadeh and Grammy-nominated producer Savan Kotecha which she "can’t wait for everybody" to hear.

As we wait, fans can still expect exciting things in store for the "7 Rings" artist, who was recently named the face of Givenchy. Even more, the musician's "Sweetener World Tour" is still in motion, with more shows in Phoenix, San Antonio, and Houston, following her gig at Las Vegas' T-Mobile Arena tonight (May 11).
