Move aside Archie, Veronica, Jughead and Betty: there's a new core four to root for. The first trailer for Riverdale spinoff Katy Keene just dropped and it already looks like our new favorite show. Here's everything you need to know about The CW's latest foray into the world of Archie Comics.
Lucy Hale stars as the titular Katy Keene. Formerly a resident of Riverdale (though never appearing on the show) Katy reconnects with Josie McCoy in the Big Apple during the first episode. As Katy tries to make it as a fashion designer in New York City, Josie pursues her dreams of musical stardom. Along with their friends, budding Broadway star Gorge and 'It Girl' Pepper, Katy and Josie sure appear to be in for some ups and downs like all the other 20 somethings in Manhattan.
Katy Keene is expected to premiere on The CW sometime in 2020, though the exact date hasn't been announced just yet. It's likely the show will debut during the mid-season between January and February. Are you excited for the Riverdale spinoff?
