T.I.'s next album is coming "freakishly soon" and it will feature a lot of Dave Chappelle

On Tuesday (September 25), the "Jefe" rapper announced that his upcoming album The Dime Trap will be voiced by the legendary comedian. "I present to you... album X The Dime Trap Feat. Dave Chappelle as The voice in my head," T.I. captioned a trailer for the album on Instagram. "The wait is almost over. Coming Freakishly Soon!!!!

In the album trailer, Dave can be heard saying, "All my life all I wanted to do was be great. If the stakes are everything, you'll tell yourself anything you need to hear to survive. Everything I say is the truth and that's a lie, and that's the motherfuckin' truth."

Earlier this month, T.I. revealed that he had signed a new deal with Epic Records (Sony Music Entertainment). In a statement, following the news, T.I. announced his tenth studio album Dime Trap and he released two singles — "Jefe," featuring Meek Mill, and "Wraith," featuring Yo Gotti — off the album.

T.I. has yet to release the actual release date for The Dime Trap.

T.I. dropped his last album Paperwork in 2014 with Columbia Records. After his departure from the label, T.I. signed a distribution deal with Roc Nation. It was with Roc that he released his 2016 EP, Us or Else: Letter to the System.
