Lamborghini Turns Into Submarine As It Drives Through Flooded Streets

The driver of a yellow sports car was caught attempting to drive through severely flooded roads on a local news station covering Tropical Storm Eta on Monday, November 9.

The footage was caught on WSVN 7 News during a live video segment showing the amount of flooding that was caused by Eta.

The sports car, a Lamborghini Huracán, struggled to make its way through the flood waters in Fort Lauderdale. The video of the car, caught by a WSVN viewer on Twitter, shows the car almost completely submerged in the water.

Thanks to car fans online, the car in the video was identified as a Lamborghini Huracán Spyder, which start at around $223,000.

"#Lamborghini or Submarine?" wrote the original poster of the video.

Despite being completely submerged in water, the Huracán was still able to glide through. Passing by other cars unable to move in such extreme conditions, the sports car was able to keep driving even with waves flying over its roof.

According to car enthusiasts online, the Lamborghini Huracán has its engine located at the rear, meaning it's less likely to completely flood.
