How Kate Middleton Honored Princess Diana At Archie's Christening

Duchess Of Cambridge Attends ANZAC Day Service

While everybody was busy swooning over how adorable royal baby Archie looked at his christening over the weekend, we missed the sweet way Kate Middleton honored both Prince Harry and Princess Diana.

The Duchess of Cambridge always looks fabulous, of course, and she stunned in a pink Stella McCartney dress for Archie's special day. She paired her dress with a Juliette Botterill headband and a matching pair of Emmy London pumps. Her most noteworthy accessory, though, was the pair of pearl earrings which formerly belonged to Princess Diana.

Here's a look at Kate's full ensemble from the private ceremony on Saturday (July 6):

Though Kate and Meghan Markle often wear heirlooms from their late mother-in-law's personal collection, Kate's choice to wear these particular earrings to Archie's christening is quite moving. Princess Diana wore the Collingwood pearl earrings to Prince Harry's christening back in 1984.

This must have meant so much to both Prince Harry and Prince William, as it helps keep their mom's memory alive during these special family moments.
