Megan Thee Stallion Puts Tory Lanez On Blast For 'Old' Collab With DaBaby

DaBaby is seemingly stuck in between the Megan Thee Stallion and Tory Lanez beef.

On Tuesday (January 5), Lanez shared a photo from the video for his unreleased DaBaby collaboration. "@dababy X TORY LANEZ ……… SONG + VISUALS ON THE WAY," he captioned the post, which raised eyebrows as DaBaby has been linked with Hot Girl Meg over the years, particularly as a guest feature on her upcoming single, "Cry Baby," off her debut album, Good News.

After the announcement, Meg responded to the news, tweeting, "Nice try," alongside three laughing emojis. One fan went on to write "f*ck dababy all 2021," before the rapper replied to the message to defend her friend. "That sh*t was old and not cleared. CRYBABY VIDEO dropping soon," she clarified.

Hot Girl Meg and DaBaby have previously collaborated on songs like "Cash Sh*t" and "Nasty," while Lanez and the rapper have only dropped a remix to Jack Harlock's "WHATS POPPIN."

As for the latest between Megan and Lanez, the former pled not guilty to one felony count each of assault with a semiautomatic firearm and carrying a loaded, unregistered firearm in a vehicle in November over the shooting case. Lanez' upcoming hearing is scheduled for January 20. If convicted, he faces up to 22 years and eight months in prison.
