Ariana Grande Throws Shade At Travis Scott Amid His Feud With Nicki Minaj

Sorry, Travis Scott, Ariana Grande is Team Nicki Minaj.

If anyone was ever confused about the "No Tears Left To Cry" singer's loyalty to her friend and frequent collaborator, Miss Minaj, Ariana let it be known that she always backs the Queen. On Wednesday (August 22), Ariana stepped right into the middle of Nicki's beef with Travis, who's been on the receiving end of Nicki's recent social media attacks, when she shaded the "SICKO MODE" rapper during a Sweetener Session at The Vic in Chicago.

While Ariana's manager Scooter Braun was onstage, predicting that her album would "100 percent" debut at No. 1, she cut him off and said, "We got three days left. You don't know what Travis could pull." The shot was clearly in reference to Nicki's claims that Travis manipulated sales of his album, Astroworld, to get the No. 1 spot on the Billboard Top 200 chart.

ā€œI put my blood sweat and tears in writing a dope album only for Travis Scott to have [his girlfriend] Kylie Jenner post a tour pass telling ppl to come see her & [her daughter] Stormi,ā€ she tweeted after her album, Queen, debuted at No. 2 earlier this month. ā€œIā€™m actually laughing. #Queen broke the record of being number 1 in 86 countries.ā€

Nicki also accused Travis of using sales of his merch and concert tickets to inflate his album sales in an effort to claim the No. 1 spot.

"What we're not gonna do is have that Auto-Tune man selling f**king sweaters telling you he sold half a million albums because he f**king didn't. You stupid f**k," the "Chun-Li" rapper said on her radio show. "You got your f**king homeboy talking for you and you got your girlfriend selling tour passes. Stop it. Knock it the f**k off."

It seems Ariana has sided with Nicki on this one, which shouldn't come as a surprise as they have been friends for years. Most recently, the two were the epitome of #friendgoals at the 2018 MTV Video Music Awards.
