Kaalan 'KR' Walker is being accused of a series of rapes dating back to 2016, People reports.
The Kings actor was charged with multiple sexual assault charges on Tuesday (October 23) after police connected him to a chain of incidents that involved him allegedly contacting aspiring models through social media, promising them opportunities for professional work, and sexually assaulting them once he was alone with them, according to a Los Angeles Police Department statement.
Police allege that KR's sexual assault scheme took place over a two-year-span. However, it's not certain exactly how many women were allegedly targeted.
The "Pop Out" rapper, who is also known for his role in Superfly, is facing nine felony assault charges, according to the Los Angeles Police Department. He was first arrested on September 11, however, he was released days after on September 15. KR wasn't out for long though. The 23-year-old rapper was arrested again on September 26 and has been in police custody ever since. He is being held at the Men's Central Jail in Los Angeles on a bail of $1,080,000. He is scheduled to appear in court on November 14.
The Los Angeles Police Department is currently investigating the case, and whether there are any additional alleged victims. Police are asking anyone with information about KR or additional possible victims is urged to call Van Nuys Area detectives at (818) 374-9500.
