Joanna Gaines Is Returning To TV With New Cooking Show

Joanna Gaines is coming back to TV!

On Thursday (December 24), Joanna unveiled the first trailer for her upcoming cooking show Magnolia Table with Joanna Gaines. “After lots of bloopers and LOTS of butter, we finally have ourselves a cooking show folks!” Joanna captioned her Instagram post featuring the preview for her new show. “I think if your kitchen is not messy, you’re not having fun," she says in the sneak peek.

Joanna first announced she'd be returning to TV with a new cooking show during an appearance on The Tonight Show back in November. Not only is Joanna in the process of launching a cooking show, she and her husband, Chip Gaines, are also starting their own TV network. Chip told host Jimmy Fallon of their new projects: “It’s a lot of work, but we’re knee-deep in it right now, and I think what we love is just the idea of just finding amazing stories, people who are passionate about what they do, whether it’s cooking, design, business. We’re excited. This is a lot of fun and a lot of work.”

Chip and Joanna also teased Magnolia Table, as well as the entire Magnolia Network, earlier this month, as well. “The fact that I get to cook in this kitchen feels like a dream come true,” Joanna said of shooting her cooking show from home. Fixer Upper: Welcome Home, a reboot of Chip and Joanna’s hit HGTV series Fixer Upper, will also air on Magnolia Network.

It looks like Magnolia Table will be a family affair, as well. In the trailer, Joanna is seen getting some help from two of her kids, Ella Rose and Crew, in the kitchen.

Magnolia Table will premiere on Discovery+ on January 4. Do you plan on tuning in?
