Lil Marlo's death has shook the music industry.
The Quality Control Music artist had been shot and killed while driving on the I-285 in Atlanta.
"At this time, investigators believe the victim was the intended target of the gunfire and they are working to determine the circumstances surrounding the shooting," the Atlanta Police Department reported.
Labelmate Lil Yachty remembered Marlo on Instagram. "We just did a song a 4 this morning," he captioned the image. "smh rip brother @lilmarlo_1"
"Rip lil marlo prayers to his family!" Meek Mill tweeted.
Artist Kollision shared on Instagram story: "Lost of words but I knew where we stood and I'll never forget them Heart to heart convos."
