This Is When We Will See Royal Baby Archie Again

The Duke & Duchess Of Sussex Pose With Their Newborn Son

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry welcomed their son Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor on Monday (May 6) and TBH he's pretty stinkin' cute. Baby Archie made his debut just two days after his birth at Windsor Castle, accompanied (of course) by his proud parents. Royal-watchers everywhere are already wondering when we'll see royal baby Archie again and it might be soon.

Though Harry and Meghan are known to break a royal tradition or two, it's possible they will follow in Prince William and Kate Middleton's footsteps on this one. Though they opted not to pose for pictures immediately after Meghan gave birth (like Kate did at The Lindo Wing entrance in London), Will and Kate have done a pretty good job of keeping their three kids out of the public eye. That's something Meghan and Harry are keen to do, as well.

One way the Duke and Duchess of Sussex able to keep their kids' lives private is by sharing portraits of Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis with the press on important milestones. Will and Kate shared the first official portraits of Prince George just two weeks after his arrival, while portraits of Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis were released on month after their births. They continue to release portraits every year to mark each of their children's birthdays.

While we don't know for sure if Meghan and Harry will follow suit, however, some suspect they will release a family portrait next week to commemorate their first wedding anniversary. Their anniversary falls just two weeks after Archie's arrival, so, it would fit the timeline Kate and William followed with their first child, as well.

We'll just have to wait and see if Meghan and Harry release a new photo of Archie on May 19. Who's excited?
