This week, many kids went back to school, including Drake's two-year-old son Adonis. The rapper and proud father shared a photo of the little one's first day, and it's adorable.
On Instagram, Drake posted a picture of Adonis standing in front of an SUV, in very cool all-black first-day-of-school outfit complete with fresh matching kicks, and wrote, "First Day Of School...The World Is Yours kid."
Adonis' mother, Sophie Brussaux also posted some first day of school photos to her Instagram. In one picture, Adonis is holding Sophie's hand in a parking lot, both of them wearing masks. And in another photo, Sophie is holding Adonis on her back in his classroom, in front of a "welcome" bulletin board, presumably featuring some of Adonis' classmates' names.
In Sophie's caption, written in French, she expresses how proud she is of her "big boy" and adorably called him her "part-time little koala" (roughly translated).
Adonis has made appearances on Drake's Instagram a number of times over the last two years. On Father's Day, he shared an adorable photo of his son, and wrote, "Happy Fathers Day to all the real g’z handling business." And back in March, shortly after the COVID-19 pandemic hit, the rapper shared a lengthy, but hopeful and inspiring message to fans along with pictures of Adonis and his family. At the very end of the note, he said:
"It’s impossible to always control your surroundings, but when you shift the focus to how you want to feel, everything will conspire to assist you. I love and miss my beautiful family and friends and I can’t wait for the joyful day when we are all able to reunite. Until then please keep your lights on."
