Chrissy Teigen Recalls Her Awkward Encounter With Beyonce At The Grammys

Chrissy Teigen loves Beyoncé so much that she ended up greeting the pop titan in a rather unconventional way for, you know, a fellow A-lister, who is married to John Legend. This all comes straight from the Lip Sync Battle co-host's mouth via her Tuesday (January 30) interview on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon

For her first official appearance on the late-night show, the soon-to-be mother of two spoke about her interaction with Bey at the 60th annual Grammy Awards. "There's nobody like seeing Beyoncé in person. It's just so incredible," Teigen told Fallon of the pop titan. "The aura that comes around her. I mean, she just emits this aura that's spectacular."

Teigen went on to explain that she awkwardly decided to greet Bey by getting on her knees and bowing because that's a reasonable way to react to another human. "On our way out, I was like, 'We have to say something, right?'" she recalled. "And I took both her hands — I don't do this for anybody, it was very weird — and John's like, 'What the hell are you doing?' And I took her hands and I got down on my knees and I was like, 'Sorry to bother you, my Queen.' Like, who says that? It was like, m'lady. Like, what do you — who am I?"
