Cardi B Says She's Dropping a New Project This Fall

On Friday (July 27), Cardi B announced she was withdrawing from Bruno Mars’ 24k Magic Tour this fall due to recovering "physically" and "mentally" after giving birth to her daughter Kulture earlier this month. But that doesn't mean the rapper isn't still working hard.

In an Instagram Live video captured by Hiphopnmore, the "Bodak Yellow" singer said that she's got some surprises up her sleeve for fans.

She revealed that the video for "Ring," an Invasion of Privacy collab with Kehlani, should be dropping sometime in August. (Side note: she filmed the video when she was five months pregnant!) She also said she'll be featured in some new tracks by other artists, though she's unsure of the release date on those.

But the most exciting tidbit of info came at the end, when Cardi said she's working on a new project that's coming out this fall.

“I’m gonna work, my life’s not over,” she said in the video. “I just have to take my time to do certain things because my body really can’t take it. My doctor was like, 'Yo, you need to sit down because you’ll go cuckoo.’”

She also gushed about how much she loves her "widdle baby" and emphasized her cuteness. Now we really wish we could see her.
