A memorial service will be held for late rapper Lil Peep this weekend in Long Beach, New York, where he grew up, according to a post on his Instagram account.
The flyer invites fans to "join us in celebrating the fascinating colorful life of iconic Gus Åhr (Little Peep)" at 2 p.m. local time on Saturday at the Allergia Hotel. Light refreshments will be served before speakers begin, with a "beach gathering" closing the event in front of the hotel. In lieu of flowers, organizers are asking donations be made to OXFAM.
Lil Peep died on Nov. 15 at the age of 21 before a scheduled concert in Tucson, Arizona. His cause of death has not yet been confirmed by a full toxicology report, but drugs are suspected.
