Taylor Swift isn't holding anything against Cardi B for knocking "Look What You Made Me Do" off the top spot on Billboard's Hot 100 chart with her breakout smash, "Bodak Yellow." In fact, it looks like the pop titan is just as excited for the rapper after seeing the gift that she sent the MC.
On Tuesday (September 26), Cardi took to Instagram to share a Boomerang of her and a massive bouquet of flowers that Swift sent in honor of her No. 1 smash. āSooo beautiful and lovely," the rapper captioned the post. āThank you @taylorswift for the flowers šā¤ļøā¤ļø....and I freaking love your music š¶.ā
Itās been all love for Cardi B since Mondayās announcement, which marks the first time a solo female rapper has hit the top since Lauryn Hill debuted at No. 1 in 1998 with "Doo Wop (That Thing)." She becomes the fifth female rapper ever to lead the Hot 100 chart after Hill and respective collaborations from the likes of Lil' Kim, Shawnna and Iggy Azalea.
Among the other celebs praising the MC for her monumental career high include Nicki Minaj, Kehlani and Missy Elliott.
