Nick Cordero's Wife Pens Open Letter To Actor: 'I Miss You So Much'

Amanda Kloots has penned an open letter to her husband, Nick Cordero, who has been battling COVID-19 in the hospital for weeks.

"Dear Nick, I miss you so much," Kloots, 38, kicked off the short letter, which was accompanied by a photo of Cordero, 41, and the couple’s 10-month-old son, Elvis. "Sometimes this whole thing doesn’t even feel real. Sometimes it feels like you are just away doing a job and you’re going to walk through the door at any moment. I miss my hubby. I miss holding your hand. I miss your gnocchi dinners. I miss watching tv with you at night and always falling asleep on your lap in five minutes.

She ended the note, citing his laugh and father/son time. “I miss laughing with you. I miss seeing you with Elvis. I can’t wait to have you home,” she concluded the sweet post, adding the hashtag #day37.

Despite Kloots' concern, the fitness trainer previously admitted that the Broadway-starring actor has been in stable condition. "No new news, things still looking the same for now," she wrote on her Instagram Story. "In the ICU no news is good news!"

Cordero was previously admitted to a hospital for breathing difficulties after being diagnosed with pneumonia. Shortly after, he tested positive for coronavirus after testing negative twice for the virus. Unfortunately, things went south when he became unconscious, was placed in a medically induced coma and underwent emergency surgery after doctors found a new infection in his lung. While recovering, the actor began having issues with blood clots, which prompted the amputation his right leg. Later on, Kloots revealed that doctors decided to put a temporary pacemaker into Cordero after he experienced some irregular heartbeats and went on a ventilator after developing a fever. Eventually, though, the star underwent a tracheostomy procedure to help remove him from the ventilator and has since started opening up his eyes, but has yet to respond to commands.
