Everyone from Anna Faris, to Kristen Bell, to rapper YG, all have shared the best mom texts they've ever received. Some were demanding, some seemed like backhanded compliments, and some were just a series of animal emojis. All are amazing.
For example, YG's mother was not at all shy about what she wanted for her 50th birthday present, and her reasoning was even better. She texted her son, "So Keenon Daequan Ray Muthaf**kin Jackson. I want this 100K car for my 50th. I'm your Mom."
"I'm your mom" sounds like a good reason for an expensive car, no? She's a cool mom, so she can't be driving around in just any old car.
Then there was this delightfully proud text from Anna Faris's mom:
"My dear Ani, I hope this doesn’t wake you. I just want you to know how proud your father and I are of you. As you know know we truly believe you are the best actress of your generation. We do someday hope you transition into dramatic work. I also woke up because I am worried you are not wearing enough sunscreen and taking the B-12 I got you from a Costco. I hope this doesn’t wake you. Please give Allison Janney our love and congratulations. No one deserves the Oscar more than her."
