Looks like Halsey and G-Eazy are making things work after all.
After being caught locking lips and hitting a few VMAs after-parties together on Tuesday night (August 21), a source has revealed the "Him & I" exes are, indeed, "figuring things out."
āSheās liking his pics on Instagram and they arenāt trying to hide the fact that their on/off relationship is complicated," the insider told Us Weekly Saturday (August 25). "They were so serious before and now they donāt feel that same pressure to define it. Theyāre super into each other still but theyāre being casual for now and avoiding labels. Their friendship is still strong and intact and they both care about that a lot.ā
News of the 23-year-old reunion with the "No Limit" star arose after TMZ pictured the pair leaving another post-show shindig in the same carā¦ at 4 AM.
The former sweethearts dated for nearly a year before the "Bad at Love" vocalist announced they were over in early July; she later addressed her split from the 29-year-old rapper via Instagram.
"G-Eazy and I are taking some time apart," she wrote. "Iām eager to continue the upcoming passage of time dedicating myself to my art and my career, and the duration of my tour. I wish him the best. Thanks for respecting our privacy at this time.ā
The explanation didn't suffice for some fans who believed Halsey's shady tweets ā i.e., "pumpkin eater" (a cheating reference) and a scissors emoji (a possible nod to G-Eazy's cautionary verse on their duet about cutting off his you know what) ā were feasible indications that the rapper was unfaithful to her.
However, this was never confirmed. Besides, given Halsey's views on cheaters as it is, we couldn't imagine she'd give G-Eazy a second shot if that really was the case.
