Here's When 'WandaVision' Will Finally Premiere On Disney+

WandaVision is almost here.

Back in September, Disney+ dropped the trailer the highly anticipated WandaVision—the first series from Marvel Studios to debut on the streaming service. According to Disney and Marvel, the long awaited series is "a blend of classic television and the Marvel Cinematic Universe" in which fan-favorite Avengers Wanda Maximoff and Vision begin to suspect their idealized suburban life together is not what it seems.

The trailer promised intrigue, action and humor for fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, however, it kept the show's premiere date in the dark. Now, though, Disney+ has finally revealed when Marvel fans can begin streaming WandaVision. The show will premiere on January 15, 2021.

WandaVision wasn't always meant to be the first Marvel Studios to air on Disney+. The Captain America spinoff series The Falcon and the Winter Solider starring Anthony Mackie and Sebastian Stan was originally set to be first original Marvel property to hit the streaming service. After a number of production delays, including COVID-19 shutdowns and earthquakes near the filming location, The Falcon and the Winter Solider's missed its original August 2020 premiere date.

While there's still no premiere date for The Falcon and the Winter Solider, Marvel fans can happily mark January 15 in their calendars. WandaVision will consist of six episodes and be the first entry in Phase Four of the MCU. Are you excited for WandaVision?
