Turns Out, Billie Eilish's Mom Once Made A Cameo In 'Friends'

In case you didn’t know, Billie Eilish's mother, Maggie Baird, was once an actress and even appeared on Friends.

In a viral clip making the rounds, Baird appears in a 1999 episode titled "The One Where Joey Loses His Insurance" in Season 6 of the beloved series. Now, her character doesn’t have a name, but she portrays "Casting Director No. 2" in the episode, where she rejects Joey, played by Matt LeBlanc, from a TV commercial audition. In the scene, viewers see him push through with his acting cops, despite suffering from a hernia and not having health insurance to see a doctor.

Aside from her Friends gig, Baird’s resume includes a role as network news president in a 2001 episode The West Wing, as well as the character Sharon Pearl in a 2000 episode of The X-Files. Later in 2013, she wrote and directed her own independent film called Life Inside Out. In addition to playing a singer/songwriter named Laura Cushman Shaw, the project also starred FINNEAS as her on-screen son.
