Colin Kaepernick is continuing to get love and support from those who understand his protest and the message behind it. The latest person to express their respect for Kaepernick is Cardi B.
During the 2017 MTV VMAs, the Bronx rapper decided to take a moment of her time to tell the NFL player that she has his back, amid all of the controversies surrounding his knee-bending protest. “Before you get to her, let me just tell you this, baby,” Cardi said before she presented Demi Lovato. “Colin Kaepernick, as long as you’re here with us, we’re goin’ to be standin’ for ya baby, heyyy. That’s right, I said it.”
Since then, the ball player has reacted to Cardi's kind words. He's very grateful that she used her airtime to show support for his beliefs. "Thanks so much @iamcardib I appreciate you supporting the movement and @yourrightscamp," he tweeted.
