Watch Cardi B Tease New Music On Instagram Live

Cardi B is still celebrating her historic success atop Billboard's Hot 100 chart with "Bodak Yellow (Money Moves)," but the Bronx rapper is looking towards the future and has teased new music to keep fans at bay until the release of her debut solo album.

On Wednesday afternoon (September 27), hip-hip's very own Cinderella took to Instagram Live to share an unnamed track, which hears her spitting bars about her dancing past and new found success. "Mama couldn't give it to me, had to get it at Suez/ Lord only knows how I got it at Suez/ I was covered in dollars, now I'm dripping in jewels/ a b*tch play with my money, might as well spit in my food," she raps.

Cardi sat down with Billboard on the day "Bodak Yellow" hit the top of the chart and admitted that she might push back the release of her album beyond the targeted October month. Still, that doesn't mean that the rising rapper hadn't thought about dropping new music in the meantime. In fact, she made mention of a freestyle and from the sounds of her snippet, this might just be that very track.

Earlier this month, Cardi sat down with The Breakfast Club and spoke about the pressure she's feeling about dropping her album in October. "Every single time I think, 'I got all the 10 songs,' I'm like, 'Nah, I'm buggin.' These ain’t it,'" she said during the interview. "It's just like, damn! I’m competing with myself. I’m competing with the goddamn No. 2 record and stuff."
