Handcuffed Woman Managed To Steal Cop Car In Front Of Officers

An Oklahoma woman who was pulled over for driving a car that was reported stolen managed to steal the police car from one of the officers who stopped her. Police pulled over 37-year-old Angie Frost last March after they received a report that the car she was driving was stolen.

The Tulsa Police Department released body camera footage from one of the officers which shows Frost denying that she stole the car. She claimed that she had permission to drive the vehicle.

“I would say I’m sorry I didn’t realize that this car was stolen,” Frost told the officers. “I asked for permission to borrow it. He told me that it was his car.”

The cops placed Frost in handcuffs and sat her down in the front seat of one of the squad cars while the officers began to search the stolen car. As the officers' attention was diverted, Frost slid over to the driver's side of the police car, locked the doors and sped off

The officers chased Frost until she stopped at a nearby Motel 6, where she was taken into custody.

In May, Frost pleaded guilty to “larceny of an automobile, possession of a stolen vehicle, attempting to obstruct an officer and driving with a suspended license" and was sentenced to three years in prison.
