To commemorate her 28th birthday, Cardi B teased the limited early release of her new Reebok sneaker called the Club C Cardi sneaker.
On Saturday (October 10), the rapper took to Instagram to tease the collaboration, which was available for a limited time on Reebok.com but have since sold-out. The women's pair was priced at $100 apiece, with an almost identical pair for toddlers set for $50. "Inspired by a dystopian world, the new Club C Cardi sneaker was designed to be unapologetically in your face, whether you like it or not," read a release on the item. "Taking cues from her recent iconic fashion moments, Cardi was inspired by bold, transparent design, taking the simplicity of the infamous Club C silhouette to the next level."
Designed by the rapper herself, the shoe takes a subtle approach to branding without stamping her name on its exterior. The Reebok x Cardi Footwear Collection goes on sale November 13. Click here for more information!
This isn’t Cardi’s first team-up with Reebok. She previously promoted their Aztrek sneaker, as well as their "Meet You There" collection, which consists of training and athleisure gear. "Everything that you love about Cardi B is what you love about Reebok," the brand said in 2018 when she was chosen as their spokesperson. "Reebok has a longstanding legacy of nonconformity, whether it’s creating the first workout shoe exclusively for women or putting bold-faced expletives and fresh-faced hip-hop stars in its big ad campaigns in the early '00s."
