Megan Thee Stallion Nabs Nicki Minaj, Ty Dolla Sign For 'Hot Girl Summer'

Believe the rumors: Megan Thee Stallion is amping up "hot girl summer" with a star-studded collaboration named after the signature catchphrase.

On Monday (August 5), the rising rapper announced that her new single will feature Nicki Minaj and Ty Dolla $ign, with production from Juicy J. For the big reveal, Megan also shared the animated cover art for the team-up, which will drop on Friday. "Hot Girl Summer" artwork. "REAL MF HOT GIRL SH*T THE HOT GIRLS TOOK OVER THE MF SUMMER SO IT WAS ONLY RIGHT TO GIVE THE HOTTIES THE OFFICIAL TRACK !!! HOT GIRL SUMMER FT. @nickiminaj and @tydollasign dropping 8/9," Meg wrote.

Prior to the release of the cover art, The Breakfast Club's DJ Envy teased the track's features after co-host Angela Yee played a circulating snippet. "The song is dope, I heard it," Envy said. "Juicy J produced it. He scratches on it."

"Hot Girl Summer" will arrive just days after Meg and Nicki connected with one another on an Instagram Live session. "Stop playing with Nicki Minaj like she ain't the muthafu**kin' G.O.A.T., like she ain't that bitch," she said during the broadcast, admitting that the first time she heard Minaj's music was when she was in eighth grade. "You know the f**king vibes. Tell these people quit playing with us."
