Lori Loughlin Released From Prison After 2 Months

Lori Loughlin has been released from prison, according to a new report from People. The Fuller House actress served a nearly two-month sentence for her involvement in the college admissions scam.

An anonymous "legal source" told the outlet that Loughlin departed the federal correctional facility in Dublin, California on Monday (December 28). In the weeks leading up to her release, there was speculation that Loughlin would receive an early release and be home for the holidays.

Back in August, Loughlin pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy to commit wire and mail fraud as part of a guilty plea. The judge approved Loughlin's plea deal, which included the two-month prison sentence, a $150,000 fine, and 150 hours of community service. According to court records obtained by People, Loughlin has already paid the fines assessed against her.

Loughlin's husband, Mossimo Giannulli, remains in jail. The designer received five months in jail, a $250,000 fine and 250 hours of community service. He surrendered himself shortly after his wife.
