Amanda Kloots On How Nick Cordero Would Have Reacted To Her 'Talk' Gig

Amanda Kloots kicked off 2021 with her new gig as co-host of The Talk, alongside Elaine Welteroth, and the Broadway actress knows exactly how her late husband Nick Cordero would have reacted to the news.

"It's like this bubbling, exciting energy inside of me and it finally feels like this dream is becoming a reality. It's very exciting," Kloots said, before she sharing some insight about her late husband. "Oh, he would be like, 'Babe! Oh my god!' He'd be like, 'I'm not surprised, go get 'em.' He was my ultimate cheerleader, he really, really was. He inspired me to start my own fitness business, he encouraged that change in my life. I know he's right beside me today through this."

Elsewhere in the Monday episode, Kloots reflected on the ring that she had made using some of Cordero's ashes, reiterating her plans to pass the sparkler onto her 1-year-old son, Elvis, in the future. As you know, Cordero passed away in July at the age of 41 after a months-long battle with COVID-19.

"It's so special," she admitted of the ring. "To be honest, you know, I never knew all the different ways that you could incorporate someone's ashes into your life. You know, I always thought they had to be in an urn and on a mantle and these little things that I've been able to be introduced to, like this ring ... it's beautiful. I feel like he's with me every day and I absolutely love it and cherish it and it'll be handed down to Elvis one day."

Kloots and Welteroth join co-hosts Sharon Osbourne, Sheryl Underwood and Carrie Ann Inaba on the CBS talks show.
