Earlier this week, it was revealed that Joe Budden wouldn't be returning to Complex's "Everyday Struggle" and all fans of the show were in complete shock.
"Joe Budden is not continuing as a host on Everyday Struggle in 2018," Complex told Billboard. "The show will be back in the New Year with all new episodes and guests. We wish Joe all the best and thank him for a great 2017."
Since then, Budden's former "Everyday Struggle" co-host DJ Akademiks has broken his silence about the abrupt change to the show. In a video that he uploaded to his YouTube, Akademiks revealed that he was in shock about Budden's exit.
The former debater of Budden's also admitted that the rapper spoke with Complex for the past couple of months to get the contract right before things turned sour. Even Budden's lawyer spoke with the company. However, these meetings and talks didn't work out. Throughout the video, Ak also said that he wished things were different.
