You Can Rent A Cottage Next Door To Kate Middleton & Prince William's Home

The Duke & Duchess Of Cambridge Host Christmas Party For Families Of Military Personnel Deployed In Cyprus

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to live like royalty? Well, there's a chance you could be Prince William and Kate Middleton's neighbor, which is probably as close as you're going to get. Unless you're Meghan Markle, that is. All you have to do is pack up and move to Norfolk, England. The cottage right next door the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's vacation home, Anmer Hall, is now available to rent.

According to Metro, a two-bedroom cottage located on Queen Elizabeth's Sandringham estate known as 20 Cherry Tree is available for rent. The property is recently refurbished with rent set at $850. Sandringham Estate's official website cites an important warning on the listing, as well: “please be aware that this property has steep stairs.” The listing also states the estate has a "strict no cats policy," however, dogs will be considered "on a house by house basis."

Though it's preferred that interested parties be local to Norfolk, those looking to move to the small town will also be considered. “Sandringham’s housing policy is to let properties as a primary residence, prioritizing those who live and work locally. Those moving to the area are also considered," the listing reads. “Properties are not let on a first come, first served basis, but rather on which prospective tenant is best suited to the property.”

The biggest perk, of course, is that 20 Cherry Tree is just steps away from Anmer Hall. The Georgian style mansion was a wedding gift from the Queen to Prince William and Duchess Kate. Though their permanent residence is at Kensington Palace in London, they're known to spend as much time as they can at Anmer with their three kids Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis. Kate often photographs her children on the Sandringham Estate for their official birthday birthdays. This past April, William and Kate released a few adorable photos of Louis at the residence for his first birthday.
