BTS' Jungkook Releases His First Solo Single 'Still With You'

BTS is currently celebrating Festa — an almost two week celebration to commemorate BTS' singles album, 2013’s 2 Cool 4 Skool — by sharing new content with the BTS ARMY.

J-Hope, V, Jin, Suga, RM, Jimin, and Jungkook have already treated fans with some pretty incredible things including rehearsal footage and brand-new family portraits that I literally want plastered behind my eyelids so I can stare at them 24/7.

For the band's next surprise, BTS shared Jungkook's very first solo single, “Still With You.” The track is a jazzy ballad that will transport you to the middle of a rom-com in your favorite city and the lyrics are as dreamy as his voice. In the song, Jungkook laments about missing someone and truly believing they were meant to be together. It also can serve as a love letter to fans about missing them.

“The moon looks lonely/ Like it's crying in the bright night sky/ Even though I always know the morning will come/ I want to stay in your sky like a star,” he sings in the second verse (via translated lyrics).

Fans, of course, are completely head-over-heels in love with Jungkook's solo debut. “Jungkook's breathy angelic voice is a miracle that this world doesn't deserve,” one fan wrote. While another said, “Okay but when Jungkook finally feels comfortable enough to release his mixtape then WHAT? How will we be able to handle it???”

In the midst of Festa, BTS also issued a joint statement standing in solidarity with the Black community amid the civil unrest across the globe demanding an end to police brutality and racial injustice following the murder of George Floyd by the hands of cops.
