New Photos Of Prince Louis Have Been Released To Mark His Second Birthday

On Tuesday (April 23), Kate Middleton and Prince William's youngest child, Prince Louis, turns 2-years-old. While the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge unfortunately had to cancel the toddler's birthday party because of the COVID-19 pandemic, they still managed to celebrate Prince Louis' big day in a super fun way—rainbow finger painting! The proud parents released new photos of the young prince on social media ahead of his birthday that depict Prince Louis making a rainbow handprint. Unsurprisingly, the photos are all adorable.

"Sharing a sneak peek of Prince Louis’ handiwork ahead of his second birthday!" Kensington Palace's caption reads. "The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are pleased to share new images of Prince Louis, taken by The Duchess this April."

Kate and William shared some outtakes from Prince Louis' birthday photo shoot, as well, and even made a reference to the 'Instagram vs. Reality' meme. "Instagram vs Reality," the captioned the silly photos. "Thank you for all your lovely messages on Prince Louis’ second birthday!"

Not only did his parents mark his second birthday with an adorable photo, Prince Louis' grandpa, Prince Charles, also posted a sweet photo. "A very Happy Birthday to Prince Louis, who turns two today," Clarence House tweeted. "The young Prince enjoys a hug from his Grandfather, The Prince of Wales."

Happy birthday, Prince Louis!
