Kanye West may be the only person in his family who doesn't have beef with Caitlyn Jenner.
On Tuesday (August 28), Ye tweeted a screenshot conversation between him and his wife Kim Kardashian's former stepfather, and it's safe to say, Mr. West is more than cool with the 68-year-old reality star. Not only were Caitlyn and Kanye texting, their convo actually started with Caitlyn thanking Kanye for sending her rumored girlfriend, Sophia Hutchins, Yeezy merch.
In the texts, Caitlyn wrote, “Sophia loved the first set of looks your team left and went all yeezy for her travel outfit today! We love your looks!!” She added, “Thanks again,” to which Kanye responded, “So awesome. Your [sic] welcome.”
Kanye seemed to have maintained his friendship with the former Olympian despite Caitlyn being on the outs with the Kardashian family.
In November 2017, Caitlyn told students at Cambridge Union, “It’s been a little bit tough over the last couple of years on the Kardashian side.” She added, “To be honest, I don’t talk to them anymore. Kim, I haven’t talked to in a year.”
The Kardashian family had a falling out with Caitlyn after she released her memoir, Secrets of My Life, in 2017. In the book, Caitlyn makes tons of claims about Kim's father, the late Robert Kardashian Sr., as well as her mom, Caitlyn's ex-wife, Kris Jenner.
Caitlyn discussed her strained relationship with all of her children in May, telling Broadly, "I spend a lot of time by myself here in the house. I have a lot of children, but sometimes just because of circumstances, maintaining a close relationship with your kids is very tough. They all have lives. They’ve all moved on.”
