Joe Jonas Reacts To Ex Taylor Swift's Regret About Putting Him On Blast

2008 MTV Video Music Awards - Backstage and Audience

Joe Jonas is sharing his thoughts of Taylor Swift's recent confession about their messy breakup.

Last month, the "ME!" songstress made an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show and made some interesting reflections about a particular time when she once aired out an ex-boyfriend on the same show over 10 years ago. The ex in question — you guessed it! — was none other than the Jonas Brothers member himself.

For context, Ellen DeGeneres asked Swift what was the most rebellious act she did in her teenage years, to which she humbly confessed: "Probably when I like put Joe Jonas on blast on your show. That was too much, that was too much."

"I was 18, yeah," the singer expressed, assuring the split is a thing of the past. "We laugh about it now, but that was mouthy, yeah, some teenage stuff there."

Well, during Wednesday's (June 5) guest spot on the talk show Lorraine, Jonas responded to his ex-girlfriend's admission of regret. “It’s something that I was probably feeling pretty bad about when I was younger. At the end of the day, I’ve moved on. I’m sure Taylor’s moved on," the "Sucker" star said of the split. "It feels nice. We’re all friends. It’s all good. We were so young."

The infamous moment, aired in 2008, refers to the time a teenage-Swift called Jonas out on Ellen for dumping her over an abrupt phone call. "We haven't talked since, but you know what, someday I'm gonna find someone really, really great who's right for me," she said at the time. "When I look at that person, I’m not even going to remember the boy who broke up with me over the phone in 25 seconds when I was 18."

Thankfully, the amicable exes are very much cool again, and in separate relationships of their own. Swift has been dating actor Joe Alwyn since 2016 and Jonas recently married Game of Thrones alum Sophie Turner last month.
