Tyler, The Creator Totals Tesla After Hitting Parked Car: 'I Dozed Off'

Tyler, the Creator is a-okay after crashing his Tesla into a parked car in Los Angeles early Thursday (October 25) morning. 

According to The Blast, the crash occurred around 12:30 am PT near UCLA's campus. The "See You Again" rapper reportedly hit a Honda CR-V so hard that the parked vehicle moved 50 feet into the street after the collision. The accident totaled Tyler's white Tesla. Thankfully though, no injuries were reported. 

An eyewitness told the site the 27-year-old rapper "seemed composed as police arrived on the scene, and he quickly walked away as cameras began to notice the accident involved a celebrity." Tyler was not arrested, and a police report was left on the victim's car.

Tyler addressed the accident on Twitter, Thursday afternoon, captioning a since-deleted photo of him behind the wheel, "my big doopy a** usually go to sleep 10:30 (I wake up at 7 er morn) and guess who wanted to finish music super late and [dozed] off for a few seconds while driving home," he wrote. "I'm a dumb a** b*tch but lil mama don't have a scratch im lucky. calmly jumped out the back and called the people. thanks elon [Musk, CEO of Tesla] for the excessive airbags u a qt. good day sir." 

He also posted a photo, which has since been deleted, of a bike, which appears to be his new ride. "Back to these chords and strings and me private lyfe yus yus holla," he captioned the post. 

Following the crash, paparazzi caught up with the owner of the Honda, who told photogs: "Tyler, the Creator hit my car! That's crazy. I wasn't even here. I didn't even look at the police report but I got it right here." The individual additionally bragged about the "decent check" he believes he'll receive, given that his car was hit by the Grammy-nominated rapper. "This is like the second time my car's been, like, it's totaled for sure...This is the second time, so I was like 'Damn' at first, but [when I found out] Tyler the Creator hit it, probably gonna get a decent check," he said.
