Robbers Arrested After Store Owner Told Them To Come Back Later

A group of six men barged into a Belgian e-cigarette shop and demanded that the owner empty the cash register. The store owner tried to talk the robbers down and decided to bluff the group. He told them that if they left and came back later in the day, he would have more money for them. To his surprise, the men left the store and promised to come back later.

He called the police, but they didn't believe that the robbers to return. A few hours later they actually showed up, but the store owner told them he had not made any sales since they left but if they came back when he was closing up the shop, he would give them everything he had. The robbers complied with his request, and he called the police again.

This time the police sent plainclothes officers to his store and they were ready and waiting when the robbers returned for the third time. When the group returned to finish the job, they were taken into custody.

"It's like it was a comedy," the store owner told the BBC over the phone. "They're being called the worst robbers in Belgium."
