Kanye West Is Very Much Still Considering Running for President

Kanye West has had a busy trip to his hometown of Chicago. Aside from recording (and honoring Michael Jackson) with Chance the Rapper, Yeezy has been giving some very honest, candid interviews to local radio stations. A day after sincerely apologizing for the controversial slavery comments he made earlier this year while visiting TMZ, the rapper discussed another touchy subject on the Chi Town airwaves: politics.

After explaining how he supports other politicians as well as Trump (and comparing those who don't to "gangbanging") he was asked if he's still thinking about running for president.

ā€œYes. It 100 percent could happen. 2024,ā€ the 41-year-old responded. ā€œIf I decide to do it, it will be done. Iā€™m not gonna try.ā€

He then delivered a monologue about how how leaders can't "f**k up the paper."

One thing Iā€™ve learned from hanging around with Jay-Z and being married to my wife is you canā€™t f**k up the paper. Thatā€™s the problem with a lot of the radical leaders in the past, whether itā€™s Malcolm, or Ghandi, or Martin. Thereā€™s certain things where they go in and theyā€™re so righteous, so liberal, that theyā€™re f**king up the paper. If you f**k up the paper, youā€™re head gonna get knocked off. Period. Iā€™m not going in, when I become president, to f**k up the paper. Because I tell you what: Trump ainā€™t f**king up the paper. Those jobs are up. Those taxes are being saved on.

Well, now we know what to expect from President West.
