XXXTentacion's "final gift" is a baby boy. The later rapper's mom Cleopatra Bernard revealed the news on Wednesday (August 22). "Itās a boy š¶š½ baby x," she captioned a photo of X's girlfriend's pregnant belly.
Days after X's death, Cleopatra shared a photo of an ultrasound to announce that X's girlfriend was pregnant with his first child. "He left us a final gift," she captioned the shot.
The 20-year-old rapper was gunned down outside a motorsports store in Deerfield Beach, Florida on June 18. The four suspects (Robert Allen, Michael Boatwright, Dedrick Williams and recently arrested Trayvon Newsome) remain in custody and are all facing murder charges.
Since his death, X's friends have made sure his legacy lives on. Earlier this month, Lil Pump and Smokepurpp sang along to their late friend's hit "SAD!" at Miami's Lit Up Musical Festival. The two even brought Cleopatra onstage.
X's tributes didn't end there. Pump recently posted footage to his Instagram Story of him giving himself a tattoo in honor of X. In the video, Pump tattooed "LLJ," which stands for "Long Live Jahseh," X's legal first name, onto his arm while X's single, "Moonlight," played in the background. Lil Xan, Denzel Curry, and Wifisfuneral have also gotten X-inspired tattoos, and Travis Scott gave X a shoutout at Lollapalooza.
X had just signed a $10 million record deal before his death. His estate has yet to reveal what will happen to his unreleased material.
