Carrie Underwood Posts Tribute In Memory Of Deborah McCrary

Carrie Underwood shared a heartwarming throwback photo on Instagram in memory of Deborah McCrary, the beloved vocalist and member of The McCrary Sisters who has died at age 67. Underwood posted a photo of them together, donning holiday attire, and wrote a heartfelt message about Deborah:
“I want to take a moment to honor Deborah McCrary…I was blessed to have worked with her on so many occasions. She was always kind…always professional…the anchor in whatever it was we were singing! I know she will be missed by so, so many…Prayers for Deborah’s family and friends. See you again someday…”
“It is with deep sorrow that we share the news of the passing of our beloved sister Deborah,” Deborah’s sisters and members of the soulful gospel group — Alfreda, Ann and Regina — said in a press release on Thursday (June 2). Alfreda also shared a tribute to her late sister on Facebook, which prompted an outpouring of messages of love and condolences from fans of The McCrary Sisters: “My sister Deborah McCrary just got her wings! Gone but not forgotten! I thank God for her life she was our baby! We love you Deborah!”
