Watch America Ferrera Pull Mariah Carey Into This Golden Globes Hot Shot

You never know who you might run into on the red carpet and America Ferrera encouraged that sort of unpredictability when she invited Mariah Carey into her star-studded photo opp at the 75th annual Golden Globes on Sunday night (January 7).

While E!'s Giuliana Rancic was interviewing Outlander's Caitriona Balfe on the red carpet, fans were surprised to see Ferrera stop the group shot and tell Natalie Portman that they should wait a moment. Cue her call over to Carey, who was to the side of the group, to join her in one heck of a group shot alongside PortmanEmma Stone and Billie Jean King. Oh, and can we talk about how much Natalie gushed when Carey was walking over to their group? Watch the moment unfold in the tweet below!

Carey attended Sunday night's Golden Globes to present the award for Best Original Score alongside Common. Even though MC doesn't have the best track record when it comes to live television, her appearance went down with ease for the most part. Yes, she almost stumbled when announcing Alexandre Desplat's name for The Shape of Water, but the rapper was by her side to help out with the pronunciation. In addition to her presentation, Carey was also nominated for Best Original Song for "The Star" from the film of the same name. She was nominated alongside songs like "Home" (Ferdinand), "Mighty River" (Mudbound), "Remember Me" (Coco) and "This Is Me" (The Greatest Showman.) Unfortunately, the singer lost the award to "This Is Me."
