Authorities in Michigan are searching for a man who was recorded on a surveillance camera wiping his nose on the shirt of an employee at a Dollar Tree in the village of Holly, which is about 50 miles northwest of Detroit.
The man was not wearing a mask in violation of Governor Gretchen Whitmer's executive order requiring everybody to cover their face while in public. When an employee went to confront the man, he became irate and started screaming at her.
The unidentified suspect then used her shirt to wipe his nose and mouth. The man "continued to be loud and disruptive inside the store" before leaving in a white van.
Police said he is facing charges of assault and released the surveillance footage on Facebook, hoping that members of the public will help identify him. They advised tipsters not to share the man's name in the comments section of the post. Instead, they asked anybody who knows his identity to call them at (248)-634-8221.
