Azealia Banks Slams Nicki Minaj For Collaborating With 6ix9ine

Back in May, Azealia Banks caused Cardi B to temporarily delete her Instagram account after making some insensitive remarks about the "Bodak Yellow" rapper. Now, Banks is taking aim at another female hip-hop titan: Nicki Minaj.

On Tuesday (July 24), the Queens-bred emcee announced that controversial rapper 6ix9ine was going to be hitting the road with her and Future as an opener for their co-headlining NICKIHNDRXX tour. Before that, she released a joint single (and risque music video), "FEFE," with the 22-year-old rapper. Banks is not happy with Minaj for associating herself with 6ix9ine, who's found himself in legal trouble and plead guilty to use of a minor for a sexual performance back in 2015. And in typical fashion, the 27-year-old voiced her opinion.

"Too much for me. I’m deleting my barb card membership. She is officially over," Banks tweeted on Tuesday.

"Pedophilia is absolutely gross and evil. Anyone who supports that s*** is a lunatic," she continued in a separate tweet.

"I'm sorry. Dude gets convicted and you ’re still trying to help him out of it? That is very dark," she concluded.

The "Treasure Island" rapper also went on a longer rant via Instagram story that detailed her views on the current hip-hop landscape and how "despicable" it is.
