Q-Tip Says 'F--- Da Grammys' After A Tribe Called Quest Snub

While fans continue to blast the Grammy committee for this year's snubs, Q-Tip took the liberty of firing at the trustees after A Tribe Called Quest failed to land any nominations.

"F--- da Grammys!!!" Q-Tip tweeted Tuesday afternoon (Nov. 27). While his succinct message sparked instant reactions on Twitter, it was his series of Instagram posts that caused tremors on social media.

"Y'all think it's a caveat because a white man wasn't nominated in no major categories and shit? We were the most black cultured group out. That's all we stood on," said Tip in his first Instagram video. "This f---ing album that we just put out, this last Tribe album, it stands with everybody's shit that's up there. I don't give a f---."

Later, Q continued to pummel the committee with a barrage of insults. "I'm sick of y'all Grammy n---as, man. Brought us out last year to perform and shit and y'all don't give us no f---ing nominations? What happened?

Last November, ATCQ released their final album, We Got It from Here... Thank You 4 Your Service, which boasted guest appearances by Kendrick Lamar, Andre 3000, Kanye West, Anderson .Paak and more and followed the death of founding member Phife Dawg in March 2016. The album landed at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 with 135,000 records sold and was well-received by the masses.
