Glendale firefighters were surprised to find a car wedged in a very tight spot on Monday, reported Yahoo! News.

The firefighters were warning people of the dangers that come from distracted driving when they found the car stuck in the front of a canal lock.

The car had two occupants inside. Thankfully, both only suffered minor injuries as a result of the accident.

The Glendale Fire Department posted a video of the wedged vehicle to Twitter. The post stated:

"Firefighters were called to the intersection of 75th Ave and Camelback Rd for a car into the canal. Thankfully the two occupants only suffered minor injuries. This is a good reminder to keep your eyes on the road and do not drive distracted."

This story had a happy ending, but many distracted driving incidents end with fatal outcomes. Firefighters want to use this as a moment to warn everyone about the dangers that come from distracted driving. Remember to always keep your eyes on the road.

According to local police, there is still an investigation into how the car went off the road.
