Kate Middleton Says Prince William Is Her 'Greatest Support' Amid Pandemic

Like so many other parents, Kate Middleton has been homeschooling her three children—Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis—throughout the pandemic. While speaking with a group of parents over video chat for an official royal engagement, the Duchess of Cambridge candidly spoke about her own personal experience with homeschool, as well as who her biggest supporter is during these challenging times.

During the video chat, Kate and the other parents were asked to share who their "greatest support" has been throughout the pandemic. They each had to write their answers down on a piece of paper and then hold it up to the camera. Kate's answer was shot and sweet—the paper simply said: "William."

Kate was also asked which subject she struggles with the most while tutoring her kids. The Duchess of Cambridge said she would rate her math skills at "—5" on a scale from one to ten. "I'm obviously right at the bottom!" she joked.

Melissa Loosemore, the headteacher of Roe Green Junior School in London, was curious to find out how each of the parents would describe their experience with homeschooling. Once again they were asked to write down their answer on a sheet of paper and hold it up when they finished. Kate's answer was highly relatable—she chose "exhausting."

"As parents, we have day-to-day elements of being a parent, but, I suppose, during lockdown we've had to take on additional roles that others in our community and lives would have helped us with," Kate explained further. "I have become a hairdresser in lockdown—much to my children's horror!" she shared with a laugh.
