Yo Gotti Concert Interrupted By Parking Lot Gunfire, Left One Person Dead

Yo Gotti's concert on Friday night (May 11) was interrupted by the sound of gunfire, which took place outside of his show at the Uptown Theater in Kansas City, Missouri, leaving one person dead.

According to TMZ, the rapper was on stage around 11:30 PM when authorities received a call that someone had been shot nearby. Police and paramedics went directly to the scene, where they pronounced the victim dead on the spot. As per witnesses, a fight broke out and someone fired off. While authorities can't say that the fight involved concert-goers, there's a high probability that it did.

After the incident, Dwayne Bowe, who performed with Yo Gotti, took to Instagram to express his frustration over the tragedy. "Great show man, killed the show," he said via InstaStory. "But this stupid sh*t has got to stop, man. Two people got killed. That sh*t's crazy. It was an awesome show, man. Shout out KC. We got to do better, black people. We've got to look out for each other."
