Colin Kaepernick Donates $34,000 To J. Cole's Dreamville Foundation

Though he's still hasn't been signed to a NFL team, Colin Kaepernick continues to have a big heart and isn't holding back on his generosity.

He's recently donated $34,000 to J. Cole's Dreamville Foundation. The rapper's nonprofit is based in his hometown of Fayetteville, North Carolina. Its website's mission statement is, "To reveal to the urban youth, their limitless potential, through positive life- altering experiences."

We don't know the exact plans Cole and Kaepernick have with the money, but we will in the next few weeks, according to a press release. β€œColin will be helping to fund a couple of new projects in development which he is very excited to support,” the statement reads. β€œColin will be releasing details of the projects in development in the coming weeks.”

Not only has Kaepernick given money to Cole's foundation, but the baller also gave $33,000 to New York's Lower East Side Girls Club and another $33,000 to 100 Suits for Men. Kaepernick previously said that he was going to donate $1 million to charities that he cared about. So far, he's given $800,000 to charities, which means he's only $200,000 from his goal!

Cole has been a supporter of Kaepernick, as he's still facing some backlash from kneeling on one knee during the national anthem at a NFL game, a few months back. The athlete still hasn't been signed to a team for this coming season and many believe that his protest is why. Nevertheless, shoutout to Kaepernick for having Cole's back because the rapper has always had his.
